Miellerie’s Lake Pedder’s Nectar has been created by placing the hives near the iconic lake and letting the bees forage on the nectar-producing wildflowers and trees of the area. The result has been a truly magnificant honey with a delightful, sweet flavour, and a pleasing and attractive fragrance.
Lake Pedder’s Nectar has been produced in the traditional French style with a buttery, creamy candied texture.
Miellerie means honey house in French, of course, and the name alludes to the origins of Miellerie’s founder, Yves Ginat. Ginat grew up in central France and has a profound commitments to organic and biodynamic farming practices, environmental sustainability and harmony with the environment. This honey reflects these commitments, with its subtle and pleasing taste, great flavour and fragrant aroma.
It has been organically produced, and has not been pasteurised or heated; it is pure, cold-extracted, raw honey.
So the honey retains all its goodness, and the health promoting vitality that the bees created it with.
