Breakfast Cheese or SIRKI is a delicate cheese of a smooth consistency with added sultanas. It is made in the traditional, old-fashioned way by fermenting milk product, followed by removal of serum. Very popular in Eastern and Nothern Europe it is versatile and can be used as a quick healthy snack – spread on toasted fruit bread, baked and used in fresh cakes, pancakes or pastry filling. Simply serve as a dessert cheese with a slice of strawberry, pear or any other fruit.
